Symposium 2011

On Wednesday, Juni 29, 2011 the annual Duthler Associates symposium was held at the Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague. The theme of the symposium was "Integrated governance and compliance".

The global crisis has on the one hand, ensured a more and more extensive regulatory requirement for good governance. On the other hand, companies and financial institutions have less and less space to fulfill all these demands. This produces a tension that requires creative solutions.

During the symposium we shared the creative solutions we have developed. This was done by mr. dr. A.W. (Anne-Wil) Duthler and drs. A.J. (André) Biesheuvel RA RE. Both are partners of Duthler Associates. The other speakers were mr. E.M. (Ed) d'Hondt, president of GGD Netherlands and Educations Authority Zeeland, mr. A.H. (André) Boekhoudt, partner of KPMG Meijburg & Co and H. (Henk) Keizer, chair of GGN. Conference chair was prof. H. (Hans) Franken, professor at Leiden University and a member of the Upper House of Parliament.
